I thought it would be getting close to 2019 sales with the launch of Switch Lite, but I guess 2022 should finish ahead 2019.

I really wouldn't be surprised with over 1m physical and 1.5m physical + digital. Splatoon is a juggernaut in Japan.

2019 will start to close the gap on 2022 soon but 2022 has got a big enough lead over 2019 to comfortably stay ahead despite 2019 having the best holiday sales for Switch, even better than 2020's holiday.

I think we will (for the first time?) see an Xbox Series title in the top 30 (Soul Hackers 2).

You won't see it, it's digital only on xbox.

Famitsu only tracks physical.

I can't even remember the last time 7 seven PS games made into top 10

Switch hardware is on fire, but Xbox is what really surprises me, its crazy how much of a turnaround the Xbox Series is from the Xbox One in Japan.

Just to drive home how bad the XBO sold in Japan, a little something called the Virtual Boy outsold it in Japan!
