Really wish it would have been announced for Switch as well. I'd prefer to have these long gaming experiences on the go. Especially since they aren't graphically intense.

I agree with you mostly. I don't believe that if you love a certain type of game you would choose the console that completly ignores those.
Anf by the coments here we can see that most people exited have already played the games. Because is logical to buy the console that has the games you like.

I don't have a platform P4G runs on and it didn't justified purchasing one. Now I can play it.
It's coming to PS5 and Steam as well. (No Switch though) Atlus sent out the press release this morning.

Sounds like you wherent that interested in it then.
Dosent matter what else is on a platform. If zelda releases on it in buying it. Wich is why I skiped the Wii u. No Zelda for it.

Persona being on multiple platforms is only a good thing. This is really a positive sign that Persona 6 will not be exclusive.

Let's hope Persona 5 Royal ps4 version has free upgrade to ps5 version. I would play it again

That's not how it works. You can be interested in a game, but not interested enough to spend hundreds of dollars on another console just to play it. I hear Sony gamers all the time on this site say, "I'm not going to spend "x" dollar amount on "x" Nintendo console for "x" game that I would play". It works both ways. Not everyone has money to throw around on every hardware that gets released per console generation. It doesn't mean they can't have been interested in a game that released on a platform they didn't buy.
