The Japanese and English site has been updated

P3P and P5R are coming to Steam

P3P and P4G are coming to PS4

P5R is coming to PS5

Edit: P5R is coming to Steam and PS5 this year - same date as the Xbox versions.

I see. I was just checking their twitter earlier. But they updated it 3 hours ago with this news I see.

Likely will be showcased on Nintendo's direct later this month.

I wonder about that now.

Because Sony are seemingly not allowed to market these games.
So if Nintendo are, then that means Microsoft paid to only prevent Sony from marketing it, but not Nintendo?
I think that would be a first. But not unimaginable since Switch isn't really seen as a direct competitor.

They announced it for xbox, then to ps5 a few days later, then to switch a few weeks later. That would be a first for a game releasing on the same day for the 3 systems. Sony weren't allowed to show it at state of play so it's highly unlikely Nintendo can show it at nintendo direct

Or it may have something to do with the history of Persona being on PS and SMT on Nintendo.

I'm happy people will finally have an opportunity to play Persona. It's a trully incredible RPG, if you like games, play Persona 5, likely the best JRPG of last generation

Some stealth editing to correct the misleading info gave initially on the show =p

By that reasoning these games shouldn’t be on Xbox, which has no history at all with Persona games other than a couple of spin-offs which are also on Switch

My point is the history of Persona and SMT being split may also be another reason behind why Switch hasn't been mentioned, it may be that the main Persona  can  be put on Xbox  but won't or cant be put on Switch because of SMT whether this is due to contracts or just Atlus itself, who knows ?  then again they may well announce it for Switch later in the month

Looking forward to playing P5R and P3P on PC. And particularly on the Steam Deck.

Hopefully they're going to be good ports and not terrible ones that don't give you options to do FA on them.

SMT III Nocturne was released multiplat though.

Persona 5 Strikers and Persona Q despite being spinoffs but still Persona games were on 3DS.

I think its just Nintendo and Atlus holding out keeping it as a big hit surprise for the Direct later this month.

while I agree with you about them most likely waiting for the Nintendo Direct, my comments are just supposition about what may or may not be happening behind the scenes, the spinoffs being on Nintendo  consoles it's why I said main Persona since the main numbered games of SMT and Persona are the ones that Atlus separated by system and PQ is based on Etrian Odyssey with it's history being  Nintendo  and Nocturne is a remaster, but even if it is announced at the next Direct, we still won't know for sure if this means an end to the decision to split the main numbered titles between platforms going forward, the answer to that question comes when we learn which systems Person 6 is announced for, still hopefully these announcements are a fair indication of that the being so.
