I need to get back into gaming and this board. Idk I just haven't really had the passion in a few years when I used to be on here for at least several hrs a week. I still play once in awhile, but nothing like I used to.

Dare to say I've become a "casual" :O

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

dx11332sega, can you please stop spamming the thread?
It's nice that you want to participate but when 4 posts in a row and 7/9 of the last posts are all yours, it's a bit much.
I apologise if this comes across as mean, I don't mean any offense, just maybe ease off a little bit?

I think the purpose of this thread was to contain some of his spam in this thread.

Spam rules are relaxed and this is just a chill thread to post whatever.

2nd chapter of my Gravy making Saga.

It was my birthday and I was craving something from home, so I tried again. This time I had chicken thighs for the gravy. The gravy was good, but just a little bit more and it becomes great. Unfortunately, I boiled 1 potato, but it was such a beastly size that it didn't cook through even after an hour of boiling. So the Mashed Potatoes were a fail.

Me too. I just got the SOLED but have barely touched it and also bought SMT V on launch, but have played like 5 or 6 hours at best. I do have time to play even though I have two jobs. More like 1.5, tbh, I help my mother at her restaurant in the morning and I have long periods of free time occasionally, but I tend to talk, use the phone or read, instead. I also only like to play when I know I don't have responsibilities ahead in the day, doesn't feel right to do so otherwise.

Could play at night, too, but I can't play games for too long so late anymore, I get asleep fairly quickly.

But I sincerely don't miss it that much, I'm happy with my current schedule.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I am currently eating whole grain cookies (again) and a banana/strawberry smoothie as breakfast.

In 2 days I  have a wedding. About 500 people are attending and is the most massive event Im gonna attend since the pandemic started. This is stressing me out.

Thinking to yourself at the wedding: "This could have been a Zoom call."

You need to cut the potato into smaller pieces. Then it'll go faster.

Can't be the only one who thinks that shoes are way too expensive? Thought it was time to get two new pairs, but my size is 14 and I will tell you that it's really, really hard to get anything below 60 dollars. Doesn't matter if I check in Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, second-hand stores, whatever, it's the same deal everywhere. Will have to wait until I can cross to the States next month.

Don't grow too tall, kids, you could regret it. And I'm not a fashion aficionado, I'll admit.

When you cross the states try going to outdoor outlets , some outdoor outlets that have official nike or official addidas stores sell the shoes 50% off or more vs facebook , craiglist and local malls , I help

I'll be honest, I always buy most of my clothing in places like Walmart, Target and the like ? But I'll check those, but in my experience, finding 20-30 dollar stuff of my size in those places is like finding needles in the haystack.

Speaking of crossing the border and needles, the border was finally opened for us Mexicans in November 8, but we have to present our vaccination certificate, and I don't have that, I chickened out when the J&J vaccine came a few months ago because I don't stand needles, I kind of die every time one pinches me. It was an incredibly irresponsible decision, but I guess I'm paying for it now.

So now I have to wait until December 1st for my second dose of AZ, and then, with some luck, finally receive the certificate two weeks after that. Relatives and friends have told me that in the majority of times CBP officers are not requesting the certificate, but still, that's how the obligation goes.
