My sister's birthday is coming up and she wanted Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Mangas as a gift. There's 9 Volumes and boy, some of there were a pain to get.

3/9 were out of stock on amazon so I was like, k, lets see if they are in Chapters who are the big book store around here. With them, 6/9 were in stock for delivery (same ones as amazon), 2/9 were in stock for pick up and 1/9 was out of stock. The problem with the pick up one was they were only available at a location that was 40 minute drive away.

So I decided to wait 2 weeks but as the stock situation wasn't getting better and I wanted a bit of a buffer zone, I needed to commit. So I ordered the 6/9 from chapters for delivery. I searched around some more in both local and online book stores but the only one that has the missing volumes in stock are about 2 hour drive away which I was like fuck dat. Now they also do delivery but they charge $12 delivery per book even if you buy 3 of them. So Instead of paying $36 for 3 books, I'd be paying $72 which is insane. But the alternatives wasn't exactly much better as scalpers also have their hands on these books as well...

So I ordered 2/3 from chapters as pick ups and paid the extra delivery fee for the last one.

Who knew getting mangas would be such a pain...

Your sister should praise your efforts and proclaim to the rest of the family on Christmas day that your her favourite family member if not give her a christmas  card with your post printed on it. love Santa Whores

You should follow my example when girls say I need to dress better, I take all my clothes off and say how much better do I look now and from the looks on their faces I'm sure they are amazed.

Finally managed to book my booster, though even that's precarious as their system was still only set up for first and second shots even though we're now recommended to get boosted after 5 months, so I had to book as a first dose but apparently ring and tell them the day before it's for a booster? I'm worried the day will come and they'll turn me away.

The vaccine rollout here in Australia has been about as well thought out and managed as the Wii U.

Still, with a little luck, in just 13 days I'll have that sweet Moderna in my veins. Don't want my autism wearing off after all, that would suck, or the fantastic 5G signal I get from Bill Gate's secret base on the moon.

My local Pharmacy isn't starting booster shots till  the 14th January they have had a pre Christmas late rush of first doses and along with those booked in for their second doses means they are booked solid and this surge seems to be Australia wide.

I think I'm gonna watch Spider-Man: No Way Home next week.

I just won three online races in a row in MK8D, I'm proud of myself. Had to choose regional for that, since in global I mostly loose to Japanese players. They're op.

I've invited my new girlfriend to family Christmas to meet my parents.

Things are going so amazingly between us, we just get each other so well, we have similar humor, personality, (introverted, anxious, and awkward haha) and taste in things like games. Despite growing up in different countries and cultures we just have so much in common.

But perhaps the most amazing part is she not only completely accepts my autism but puts so much effort into understanding my perspective, which is truly a rare thing.

I don't think I've ever connected with a partner this well; even my first girlfriend, who was an amazing woman and who I loved dearly, always had trouble relating to the way my brain worked. This new relationship feels unlike any I've had before.

Just 4 months ago I worried I'd be single forever, now just going a day without talking to her feels daunting.

Wow, you must be really lucky to have found her. I really wish you both a long and happy future together.

Thanks heaps guys. :)

She is from China; moved here to Australia to go to University in 2015 and decided to stay after graduating because in her words she prefers the more laid back lifestyle here.
