No, but you are incredibly close. I wrote that my game is a spiritual successor of that 90s game, not the one actually remaking it with the same name. Also my game involves the creator of the original game. So maybe give it another try. But you are indeed close to the solution.

Hint 1: Add an F to the first letter of both words composing the name of the game and you get the organization the main charcater works for. It's an N64 game
Hint 2: This game was often compared to another very well received game that released in the same period of time, therefore this game had mixed reviews.
Hint 3: This game and the game it was often compared to are both based on movies

Hint 1: I played this game in french and I realized that the name of a non-playable charcater (NPC) was changed in the french version compared to the english version. Strangely enough, both names sound very french. it's the last installment of the franchise
