Not relevant. His post was about current projections of sales, not just randomly predicting Xbox Series will somehow spiral out and not manage to reach even the Xbox One's total. Nothing suggests Xbox Series will underperform compared to last gen at it's current rate.

And just in terms of general optics and consumer perception, it must be in a pretty good position to gain market share if a certain fanbase is reaching this hard to pin any negative points they can against it, even when it's based on complete nonsense.

So only possitive sighns are relevant? Ok then. Then you wonder why he won't answer back.

What do you mean nothing indicates the series will under perform? The company is so let pushing gamepass and even here most fans say they dont care about the sales of the console as gamepass is more important. Even spencer on the interview said the goal of the bethesda deal was gamepass. I for that reason believe it won't reach tue x1s total sales. Will it get under 30m? Probably not that low. I would predict a bit under 40m.

Switch is doing so well... i know it will get hit by the AC + covid boost soon but MH, revision and maybe a price cut will be big towards the end of the year.

At this speed, just three more weeks til Switch overtakes GBA, and two til it passes PSP.
And since it's actually been two weeks since the timeframe for these numbers, PSP is likely already topped as we speak.

Yep; PSP was #10, Switch should be now.

The Switch will most likely surpass the Xbox 360 in shipments by the end of Q4 and will be within very close reach to the PS3's 86-87M. 5-7M quarter for the Switch should be expected. That would put the Switch #8 and possibly #7 in all time sales.
