I really hated Zak & Wiki, and can't recommend it to anyone. I think its extremely overrated. Recommend Zelda, ExciteTruck, Strikers, RE4 (excellent).
Only strong anti-recommend is Secret Rings - bhargh.

After that, let me suggest Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Bully, or Super Paper Mario. Three excellent games.

...and just FYI, I hated the Gamecube Metroids, but loved Metroid Prime 3. Controls made is so much better, as well as simplicity.

Zen, I don't think SPM is Rocketpig's kind of game. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

*Mario Kart is amazing.
*I don't know if you're into strategy and RPG, but imo Fire Emblem is the best game on Wii right now. It also has endless replayability.
*You can't go wrong with Okami Wii I guess.
*Zack & Wiki is superb, but probably not for everyone. If you like brainteasers this is awesome.
*RE4 is absolutely worth it despite you beat the GC version, the controls are awesome and it includes 2 Ada Wong missions.
Between Okami and Z&W: Do you have lots of enclosed hours in which you game, or do you play an hour per day or so. Z&W was ideal for me when I was really busy at work, because it's very level based, so you can beat a level and quit.
If you have 3 hours a day Okami might be a more epic experience.
