-One Piece in Love - a parody referencing One Piece, has music and voice actors from One Piece.
-Pokemon Sun & Moon - best Pokemon anime season, great cast of characters, setting and story.
-Pokemon Good Night, Rowlet - short about Pokemon Rowlet
-Pokemon: Eevee and Friends - one episode special about Eevee
-Pokemon Pokemon: Eevee and Colorful Friends - another one episode special about Eevee
-Pokemon: The Origin - a spin off series that followed the 1st gen games story more than the original anime. Much more serious and darker, wish it was longer.
-Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate! - a special I missed watching, about Mystery Dungeon story

Movies Completed
-Grave of the Fireflies - finally got to watch this, pretty depressing and I enjoyed it, wife told me it was her least favorite Ghibli film she watched lol
-Pokemon Movie 22: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution - its basically a 3D animated remake of the first movie, except its soul-less in comparison
-Thumbelina - it was okay, not as good as the Disney animated films at the time

Currently Watching

Apocalypse Hotel - post apocalyptic anime, very depressing but charming at times.

Bye Bye, Earth Season 2 - continuation of a series I started a year or so ago, basically a mixture of fairy tale stories and aspects with its own story

Catch me at the Ball Park - a slice of life anime at a Baseball stadium revolving around the lives of the workers, great palette cleanser from all the action

Detective Conan - best mystery/detective series, I'm a bit behind but I'll catch up again

Devil May Cry (2025) - technically not an anime because its made by a western studio. Its okay, a reboot of the series, at least its better than DmC Devil May Cry story wise

Fire Force Season 3 - one of my favorites, been waiting a while for season 3. Firefighter anime lol

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman - made by the Jobless Reincarnation team, except not as badly written and the MC is a less asshole version of that anime.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 - a Sentai/power ranger parody, where the rangers are the bad guys. Loved season 1 and this one's been good for the most part

Lazarus - probably the best anime of the current season. Basically a modern Cowboy Bebop except not in outerspace, its modern world - people have taken a recreational drug and it has been tainted by its founder to the point where everyone who has taken it, will die in 30 days. A group of criminals (i.e. Suicide Squad, Thunderbolts) got grouped up to find the creator.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX - more like Suxxxx , lol jk, the main characters are terrible while the supporting cast is great. I dont like the clashing character designs, the main characters look like they belong to another series while the support cast look perfect Universe Century Gundam anime characters like they should. At least this anime is better than the mess that was Gundam Witch of Mercury which last came out.

Moonrise - from the artist for Fullmetal Alchemist or at least it looks like it, great story and concept. A Earth vs Moon civil war story.

My Hero Academia Vigilantes - spinoff of MHA, I actually like the cast of characters and story. Went in with low expectations but amused so far.

One Piece - GOAT

Pokemon Generations - a expansion of Pokemon The Origin, still too short though. Very dark. I like the What If scenarios like the one episode where Team Aqua managed to accomplish their goal but end up destroying the world because of it and they had a lot of regret at the end lol

Shoshimin How to Become Ordinary Season 2 - the anime design is great, story is compelling but the female MC is such a bitch, cant stand people like her.

Sword of the Demon Hunter Kijin Gentosho - pretty good samurai/demon anime, if you told me it takes place in the same universe as Demon Slayer, I would have believed you (if I didnt watch Demon Slayer and didnt know better lol). Animation is pretty different but another Demons and Samurais anime.

Witch Watch - a comedy about a Ogre, Witch, Tengu and other people. Another palette cleanser.

Just watched Misssion Impossible 8. Wow, I don't think I ever wanna watch another movie again just so I can savor it for the rest of my life.

Blackberry movie. Was soo good. Feeling a little sad, loved those phones.

Not gonna see it, but based on what so many people are saying about it, the Lilo and Stitch remake is the usual soulless Disney remake. Fuck whoever keeps greenlighting these festering turds.

I heard they changed the ending and its not a happy ending either.....

Probably building it up for the sequel since they are currently in talks about making a sequel to this one.

What a cheap stunt, especially since they risk the ending being rendered pointless if this movie fails at the box office.

UPDATE BECAUSE AS I SAID THAT IT REPORTEDLY MADE TRIPLE IT'S BUDGET THIS WEEKEND:

Yeah, not surprising.

They changed a lot about the movie from the original but the concept is a gold mine regardless.

And it didnt have a actress who acted like a online troll badmouthing the original movie , so that helps lol.

Not sure if this is relevant for you guys, but I work at two different schools here in my town, and I see a lot of girls with Lilo and Stitch themed school stuff, while there are many boys with Sonic themed things.

I think the movies helped a lot to make those characters popular with kids again.

Just finished the season finale of "The Last of Us". Season 2 has been really uneven, it's much weaker than season 1 for sure, but still pretty good. The actors do a solid job, it's the writers that need to take the blame here. One scene in particular in the finale was completely meaningless; I can't fathom how an entire production company and writing team could see it otherwise.

Started watching Poker Face S2. Up to E4 so far, already all an improvement over S1 (which was great). The humor is great, as well as the production values. Every episode is very different, fun show. No heavy themes, pure escapism.


Finished watching Based on a true story S2. Season 1 was better and the show is cancelled now.
