The surprisingly distressing episode of Home Improvement where Randy may or may not have cancer (thankfully he doesn't), and then the one with Romeo & Juliet directed by Wilson with mechanized sets of aluminum foil thanks to Tim.

As a fan of classical greek mythology I had to watch this:

I think great job displaying the gods and the humans in a world where gods are real and present. I dislike the conclusion of the mystery, because they handwaved it a lot, but it does not impact the enjoyment while watching, only tinges the ending. A bit, as the end parts not tied to the mytery of the prophecy are completely fine. Worth a watch.

Started a watch of the DC Animated Movieverse recently. The first handful were okay but Crisis on Two Earths was a banger! Big step up in budget and quality. I know Red Hood is good too. I'm looking forward to seeing what else is in store.

Saw Transformers One last night (had another Friday night off from work and took advantage), it was really good. Everything was handled masterfully, from Prime and Megatron (to be)’s relationship to the climax. I loved seeing the growth of their characters and the set up for the bombastic climax, which was excellent all the way to the end. Not a single dull moment in this movie that I recall and the action and SFX are the best in any Transformers movie to date, both animated and live-action alike.

Moreover, I love how it actually gives us a Transformers movie about the effing Transformers (!) this time instead of the (usually soulless) humans, which we haven’t had since the OG original animated film, which I watched the night before in prep for this. The first live-action (“Bayformers”) film I do like, though.

8.5/10 already pre-ordered the 4K. I hope it does well enough to greenlight the sequel, which they set up nicely.
