Acquire Platinum before they keep making fucking stupid decisions

I'm glad that one of Nintendo's most talented and successful partners is now officially Nintendo

Pretty much a given since Next Level has worked exclusively with Nintendo for a while now.

They've been a subsidiary for some time, now it's just on paper.

Wait, they weren't part of Nintendo already? They've been doing Mario games for more than a decade now! Huh...

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

This is honestly fantastic news. They were already working exclusively with Nintendo, so it's not like they were looking to develop on other platforms anyway. This just secures them and ensures we don't see another AlphaDream situation, and means they can work more closely with Nintendo as well. The devs at NLG are extremely talented, Luigi's Mansion 3 finally showed their full potential and what they are capable of. It's a phenomenal game and easily the best looking game on Switch. (It's not even close)

This is kinda like marrying your girlfriend of 15 years.

Not a bad move though, Luigi's Mansion 3 was pretty damn good, and it always helps to have more first party studios.

Excellent news, As Nintendo were lacking presence in its Western Portfolio (Retro studio is stuck in development hell) so its a good start nonetheless.
