Last of Us 2 for me. Game was meh due to poor pacing and gameplay not evolving since Last of Us 1. Isn't even top 20 ps4 games for me, much less "GotG".  Though it is an unoriginal pick, many agree, for obvious reasons.  

For the record I played and beat Last of Us 1 (loved it) and Last of Us 2 (bored with it).  I wanted to mention this since people have concerns about having played (or not played) the games they are listing.  I also adore my ps4 for Spider-Man, Nier Automata, Monster Hunter World, Bloodborne, Souls 3, God of War and many more.  I simply thought Last 2 was mediocre in all regards except graphics.  

On a side note I am playing 13 Sentinels now.  Which puts Last 2 out of my top 3 ps4 games for 2020.  Ghost, 13 Sentinels and FFVII Remake are all better games.

The Last of Us Part II. The critics and industry overrated it big time. However, I will also call out the hive mind haters who review-bombed it. It was so stupid to give it 1 out of 10, especially when almost all of them at the start hadn't played or completed the game.

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

Think I have to go with Undertale. Yes, its a fun and charming little 5 hour game, but the love for this game is just mind boggling to me. Some talking about it like its the greatest achievement in gaming. People talking about that Sans character like he was this great character. He was fine, but not exactly very memorable imo. The music was ok I guess. Megalovania or whatever it was called was ok.

I just played and beat Final Fantasy 7 for the first time. I really liked it and get why people are going crazy for it. I dont know. Undertale just feels like a prototype for a longer game.

Agreed.  While Last 2 is overrated and isn't a 10/10, it still is a solid/good game.  Easily a 7/10 to a 8/10.  The 1/10 was just silly.  Same goes for Pokemon S/S and Last Jedi.  Very few things are 1/10.

I find put Pokemon Sword at the same level of The Last of Us 2 concerning. I understand the POV of people who thinks the game is overrated but Pokemon Sword is a much inferior project in every sense. TLOU2 use all capabilities of its system, while Pokemon is a 3DS game with slightly better assets 

Even multiplayer become trash this gen as Gamefreak keeps adding those idiotic mechanics like Dynamax just to keep VGC less and less enjoyable, I didnt even bother to play competitive this gen 

Might not be a 1/10, but surely is mediocre and closer to 1/10 than to 7/10

I mean, if it is mediocre, that is still closer to 7 than to 1.

Maybe it's a language misunderstanding, in my language mediocre is closer to "really bad" than to average
