100 million Steam users + 50 Million Xbox users + 15 million Gamepass users < 100 million Steam users + 50 Million Xbox users +15 Million Gamepass users + 110 Million Playstation users + 70 Million Switch users. Android is irrelevant. If you seriously think phone games are good or worthwhile, then you need to turn in your hardcore gamer card.
Not to mention that Steam users often are Xbox users, and Xbox users often are Gamepass users. There's going to be some overlap there. Overlap is much less likely with Playstation users.
Finally, Gamepass isn't sustainable without drastically raising the price. If you can show me the internal Xbox numbers proving otherwise please do.

Talk about moving Goal posts.
You said "Ouch. Yeah, I doubt sales from PC + Series X/S will be large enough to fund the games entirely on their own. MS is not like Sony, or Nintendo. They've never had a platform that sold over 100 million units. That's the sort of sales you need to make an exclusive worthwhile. At 50-60 million XB Series just won't have enough of an install base to recover from a lack of Sony customers.
That's why, I'm pretty sure MS is going to keep Bethesda 3rd party."
I simply pointed out how the combined Steam users+Xbox users+Gamepass users are alot more then just 100 million.
And now you reply by trying to add Switch sales+PS4 sales to Steam+Xbox+Gamepass users when the same can be said for Sony.
So i ask again how does Sony keep their games exclusive with a smaller install base then MS is dealing with?. I mean they should have to release their games on xbox+Steam+Switch+PSNow too or they will be forced to add all MTX to their games am i right?.

Oh wow. You're confusion is both understandable and hilarious.
I was just pointing out that Bethesda going from releasing on 4 platforms to releasing on 2 platforms is going to be significantly less money.
I can definitely see how you thought it was goalpost moving. That's fine. I guess I just assumed that you would understand that Sony having 100 million consoles sold means they have 100 million people buying 3rd party games for their system, which in turn generates a ton of profit. It's true that there's 100 million+ steam users, but when somebody buys 3rd party game off Steam MS doesn't see any of that platform royalty money. Valve does. Sony can recover from a lack of Xbox/PC customers, because at 100 million PS4s sold they make insane amounts of money on 3rd party royalty fees. MS won't be able to do that, because they'll only get that sort of 3rd party royalty income from Xbox, which will be lucky to sell 60 million units lifetime. And they couldn't do that this gen, because Xbox struggled to sell 50 million units lifetime this gen.
I hope that clears things up!
Edit: P.S. How many copies has Fallout 4 sold on PC? How many copies has Fallout 4 sold on PC + Xbox + PS4? Somebody please, run the numbers, because I would seriously like to know.
