Why are none of your points arguments to buy the console at launch? One of them is even an argument to get it later.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
The amount of cringe in the OP actually makes me want to get an XSX instead.

Currently playing Megadimension Neptunia V II. Love it, but it's gonna be my whole summer. Games like this really hammer home that I will never finish my backlog.

I was very fine with original DS as well, but DS4 made me even happier, when I pick up an older DS it feel a little strange. But yes I didn`t need changes on it, waiting to see how dual sense will feel out, I guess it will be an improvement.

Why would you buy a Switch, when you can get a brand new PS5 and finally enjoy third party support without being salty about 5 gens of Nintendo 3rd party drought.

For the same reason someone might buy a PS5, and then be salty that Nintendo is not a multiplat 3rd party company.

I might hold out long enough for the PS5 Slim. But who knows. I just know I'm not getting a PS5 at the end of this year. It'll be a shock if I get one in 2021. It's looking like 2022-2023.
