Well Gabe gives no reason at all. Hes obviously not neutral. He hated the PS3 as well at first. Im sure he will come out at a PS5 event looking like a hostage again after a few years when he need Sony to sell his products though. 

Didn't Gabe give the PS2 the best port of Half Life 2 on release? and gave Portal 2 exclusive content on the PS3? He looks after Playstation just as much as he did Xbox. He hated the PS3 because it was a nightmare console to developer for, something western developers admitted, that shouldn't put him in the fanboy bracket for making factual claims, he was just being honest, beside he still ported games to the PS3, he wouldn't of done that otherwise.

No. Half-Life 2 was not on the PS2. The Orange Box was on the PS3, but it wasnt as good as the 360 version from what I heard. It was when they announced Portal 2 on the PS3 that he awkwardly came out on stage at the Sony E3 conference. He didnt just not like the PS3. He talked alot of shit about it and Sony themselves. Not necessary.

Gabe probably just sold plenty of Xboxs with his simple statement of which is better out of the PS5 and Xbox with a straight answer of "The Xbox."

The host from the show asked him "why?" and he responded "Because it is. I don’t have a stake in that race," he added. "Obviously, we do most of our development on personal computers, but of the two I would definitely go with an Xbox."

Unfortunately Gabe didn't go into detail as to why the Xbox is better, could this be due to Sony's partnership with Epic? Or Tim Sweeney praising of PS5 of recent times, no body knows, however Gabe has a lot of weight to his opinion compared to the majority and i am simply interested in knowing why he thinks so.. is it because the Xbox is better overall or because of his rivalry with Epic Games, where he will bank the other bus.
