From PS5 I'm waiting for demon's souls, spiderman, kena, ratchet, gt7 , project athia , horizon and little devil .

From Xbox i'm waiting for halo ,avowed and fable.

Although xbox has showed more exclusives, I think the quality of ps5's are far superior

The Medium is for now officialy announcend only for Xbox SX and PC.

Grounded will be only in Early Acces for now.

Gears Tactics launching at the end of the year and will by optimised for SX.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is first party exclusive.

I'm also interested in Call of the Sea and Bright Memory Infinite, both of which will also be available for the Series X. Call of the Sea won't make it to the PS5 readily, it appears, and is slated for release this year.

To take what's bound to be the unpopular position, I liked the Series X offerings best. Only the top four games I just listed for the PS5 are must-owns to me. Everything else falls below all of the games I've mentioned interest in for the Series X so far. Also, none of those four games are slated for release this year or will likely come out within the next year's time for that matter. Cumulatively, this makes the Series X of much greater interest to me right now than the PlayStation 5. The PS5 line-up honestly just has a more straightforward, commercial feel to it overall. The Series X line-up looks more creative and I'm very much looking for legitimately new experiences in this medium right now. (And yes, I want to play as womanz just in general because I am one, sorry. Selfish, I know.) I know, I know, my tastes are weird. But you asked!

Wow Both Consoles have games worth playing. Interesting

The killer part for me is GP, it’s insane that I’ll get to play most of the games I want for next to nothing on Xbox. It’s value can’t be denied

The list looks like PS5 exclusives vs ”XBOX ONE and XBOX Series X” exclusives.

Official Statement on the exclusivity of The Medium:

As exclusive games for new consoles, I consider all the games that will come out after its launch (and I assume that will be the case for Grounded and Gears Tactics). Early Access doesn't count for me.

Zelda BotW was an exclusive WiiU and Switch game. It's the same with Halo Infinite, Gears Tactics and Kona (PS4 and PS5 timed exclusive).

Possibly early on, but I wouldn't be so sure later down the road. Looks like Microsoft learned it's lesson well in that regard and bought high quality studios with high quality IPs. So I think the quality may even out much more than it did this gen where many Xbox exclusives were pretty crappy.

With all the respect in the world, I think your list is pretty unfair.
As already said by some, this list is more like:

"Playstation 5 only Vs everything on Xbox with optimized for X series X seal".

I consider it very unfair not to include games like Last of Us part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima ( and others that will have upgrades on the PS5 version) in this list. These games will undoubtedly have a significant improvement on PS5, they undoubtedly will have treatment similar to Halo infinite and that is why these games should be treated as "crossgen exclusives".
I mean, this list considers Gears tatics, tetris effect and other old games as "next gen exclusives", really?

The distinction between console exclusive and actual exclusive is the reason I have no intention of ever buying an XSX.
