I am perpetually angry that this game wasn't more successful. This is why we don't get new IPs.

Mostly there are a bunch of games that get a bum rap because they deviate from their franchise. Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, Super Paper Mario, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Chrono Cross.  Like those a lot more than their fanbases tended to.

I can't speak for the overall sales but for me, I was excited about the game. I played it. Hated it. It felt like an inferior Valkyria Chronicles. I thought  about picking it up again a couple of years ago when it was cheap but then VC4 came out and turned out to be the best VC game. So yet to try it again. Still might.

Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.

Seriously though, perhaps if you're really into that type of game, you're not the target audience. I haven't played many games like that, but even so it definitely felt like they were aiming this towards newcomers to the genre.

But I am into them why I mentioned Valkyria Chronicles. You should play the VC series they are truly excellent. 4 is probably the best in the series. It's on about every platform. PC. Switch. PS4. Xbox.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

The Order 1886 had a lot holding it back, but the gunplay and atmosphere were top notch. I also really enjoyed Knack and Killzone Shadowfall in the early days of the PS4.

ARMs was a joy to play, especially co op with my son online. A lot of people like to throw shade at it, but it is a fun game. I also really liked Deamon X Machina, and while those that love that niche generally praised the game, many people wrote it off. In all fairness though, if you are not already into Armored Core style Mech games, this will not change your mind.

I put a lot of hours into two playthroughs of Fable 3. It is highly accepted to be the weakest of the 3 main games, but I loved it. Even if the second half of the game seems like something they threw together as they ran out of time and money.

Yes they're great games,i loved the first one and the 4th is kinda the same.

My only problem with them is myself,i'm lately a bit done with that kind of anime character design and i do not know why it bugs me so much cause VC4 is a great game.

The Wii versions of Call of Duty World at War, Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and Modern Warfare 3.

Back in the day these were laughed at for their ugly graphics and the general sentiment was "lol why would anyone want to play COD on the Wii", but as someone who owned a 360 and had the option of buying the prettier versions, I opted for the Wii ports solely because the Wiimote pointer was so much better for aiming than an analogue stick.

I wouldn't say loved the game but I enjoyed playing Duke Nukem Forever. Pure silly fun.

Also Final Fantasy 13, I really liked the combat (Paradigm system). The story was decent and the game opened up a lot upon reaching Grand Pulse. Music was god tier as well.

You misunderstood me.  People who are really into a certain genre may not like games meant for people who are beginners in that genre.  The type of person who mastered something liek Super Meat Boy may find that Kirby's Epic Yarn isn't quite challenging enough.

mighty no 9. maybe it’s because i played it long after it’s release after the patches (maybe two years or so) but i thought it was a very good game.

definitely a worthy addition to the mega man genre imo. i enjoyed the fast-paced nature of the game with the dashing mechanic.

the music could have been better (i enjoyed the 8bit remixes in mighty gunvolt burst much more), but i didn’t find the level design or bosses to be poorly developed like some say.

a solid 8/10 for me.

Can't recall anyone, I don't play games that are received or are perceived negatively. Not because I actively want so but because I simply don't get interested in them in time.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Kirby Air Ride. I remember when it came out, it got like 3s and 4s in most major magazines. Have played probably 500 hours of over the years.
