Yeah the 2 differnt colours of such contrast (white and black), isnt my favorite either.
I saw fan pictures of controllers where they changes up the colours of it, and it came out much better than the black + white design.

Im hopeing Sony does a PS5 version, that is in differnt colours.

A simple, sleek black edition would do it for me, it'll make it look a bit leaner as well. Regardless of its looks though, I know I'll be buying one sooner or later.

To OP - I have to go with 1 out of 5.  I personally just don't like the color scheme or the curved out plastic on either side.  I feel like if Nintendo had gone with such a design scheme, a lot of the people saying they absolutely love the design would find themselves saying that the white plastic gives it a cheap kids toy look that is out of place with the modern equipment around their TV.

4/5 I'd give it a 5/5 if it was a more metallic colour. But I love the design itself.

I'd give it a 5/5 since I personally love the design, but daaaaamn it's so big! Then again I guess that's a good thing, should be quieter with less chance of it overheating, right? :o

Seems to be designed to have the best flow of heat while the console stands up looking at how it is curved,not that it will matter that much and i'm always putting them flat myself.

I never really thought the PS1 or PS2 were that great looking either.
So in that sense, its not bad. Hell even the base PS4 wasnt that looking too good, until the slim came out.

I doubt you'll get that option. Play Asia just had a listing of 700$... ouch. Not for me if that's true, even if they eat 80 off the cost to manufacture it'd be 600 for the discless. I hope this listing is just a troll and not Sony instructing to leak to test the water. This thing needs to be 499 max, disced and 449 digital. It's suicide if they go higher than that and it'll cause a stunned launch like with the ps3. 

Only thing that gives me hope is that Microsoft essentially does it with all its backwards compatible games.  But you do need to insert the disc the first time. Still, there are other ways to register your game online if Sony wanted to allow it.

Also, there is no way in hell Sony will charge 700 or even 600 for a discless console.  I'd say best case scenario is 500 for disc based and 400 for discless.  More likely though is 500 and 450.  But if Sony wants to succeed, they will not charge 700. Play Asia has no inside info.
