I ultimately don't care too much about the aesthetics of video game hardware at all as long as it runs properly and has good features. But that's not the question. I do like the design. It's like a DVD/Blu-ray player box inside a folder.

On the fence. Like the digital console better.

I think it's very ugly, especially the one with disc drive and I'm not about to go all digital just yet. The fact that you need a stand to use it horizontally royally pisses me off. I could get past the ugly white (which never stays white and looks totally out of place) but hope there will be an all black edition on launch day.

Now how do I balance the psvr break out box on top of that wavy crap. Will it even fit, stand + thick wobbly noodle + breakout box, how much is that together...

One USB-C port, how do I play/charge two controllers?

It looks like a crossing between Megamind and Oreo gone wrong.

I love it, but supposedly its huge?

Hard to measure it exactly with all the curves, but the Xbox One X is about 8 liters in volume and this looks like 9 liters at least. It's over 40 cm tall standing up.

That being said, you can't exactly push the GPU sizes these next gen consoles are pushing and expect them to look like tablets.

So... yeah, it's pretty darn tall/long, lol

Given the Series X has the greater horsepower I was expecting the PS5 to be smaller. I guess MS's "chimney" approach to heat dissipation where the whole console is one giant vent is just a more efficient thermal solution.

People may compare PS5 to a router, but still better than a water fountain.

I absolutely love it. It almost looks too modern. Still, I'm definitely digging the look of it. Guess all of those that thought it would look like the dev kit was WAY off base.

I thought the same thing.

OT:  I really like the design. I’m honestly shocked so many people are having a negative reaction to it. Don’t get it, but everyone’s different.

Best looking console I have ever seen.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I kinda like it but I'm concerned with the rumors of overheating because I can see that with it. Also, I wish Sony would just move the left stick to the D pad area. Xbox set the bar that way, Sony should just copy it and improve upon it.

@sales2099 looks like PS5 doesn`t look similar to XSX at all.
