You act like Sony is canceling the PS5 altogether because of civil unrest. You'll be okay if they have to move the event a week or two. The selfishness amongst some in the gaming community is uncanny. 

Protests could last months though? Theres no short term fix to these protesters.
How long does it take to reform laws? and get them passed? Will trump and the republicans even vote for such if these protests managed to get things done?

A murderer is being charged and facing jail time where he otherwise likely wouldn't be, that's enough of an accomplishment. Other cops who think they can behave the same way are put on notice no matter what. 

You'll have your new toys to play with in the fall, relax.

You really think thats enough? What happends when a month or two from now, something like this happends again? New protests and riots?
How about removeing some of the powers & protections that the police seem to have, so real change takes place?

If all that happends is a single person is charged (when there was 3 other cops nearby not stopping it), thats a huge loss.
And even if you get all 3 extra's charged aswell, it wont change things. There needs to be laws in place, so police dont put their legs on peoples necks.

(note on the huge loss, 1 black man dies due to police brutality, and yet these protests have probably already killed many more times that amount, ontop of the virus spread killing potentiall 1000's in the future from this. I hope these protests dont amount to so little)

Yes there will be more riots if something like this is caught on tape happening again and the powers that be are dragging their feet on prosecuting. People are fed up. 

No justice, no peace. Plain and simple.

Per capita that's not even close. 

When they've been enslaved by black people for several hundred years and are denied individual rights and are repeatedly murdered by police and nothing is done, then sure riot to your hearts content. 

The overwhelming number of rapists, school shooters, and public shooters in general are white males in the US, no one pulls aside white males wanting to go into say a movie theater or casino for fear they might shoot up the place. If that ever happened the hissy fit and whining that would ensue would fill a toilet. They get the luxury of being seen as individuals, not so with other racial groups.

Here's a helpful hint: 1000 white people and 10 black people in a room. Police come through and unlawfully kill 10 black people and 11 white people. Which group has a bigger issue with police violence in this room?

I honestly thought to myself "maybe I shouldn't make it so crazy and have 5 black people killed" but I wanted to make the math as simply illustrated as possible. You've got me though, just like dinosaurs don't have to worry about global warming.
