Polls will be 2016 all over again. Trump will win. Trump has the silent majority vote, and he'll get those key swing states again. America seems lit to live in right now besides their abysmal COVID response lol

The polls would need to be twice as bad as they were last time for Trump in most swing states to win the election this time around. He still can win of course, but his chances are much slimmer than they were 4 years ago.

That is the single biggest issue in this election for voters and the one where Trump is getting the most flack for, even from members and voters in the Republican party, yet you still think he’ll win?

That's how in touch with the perspective with Jane Average American Donald Trump's supporters actually are. They truly do live in their own little world. For many of them, that world is about to come crashing down to cold, hard reality sooner rather than later because the mental bubble they've been living in for the last four years probably can't survive much more than another 24 hours.

I think the best analysis of the present situation I've seen so far was recently offered by Bill Scher, who concluded on this note:

"...Republicans should not spin themselves and make excuses. They should accept that Trump lost this race a long time ago because he did not take governing seriously, and because he tried to divide a nation that, in its heart, does not want to be divided."

Yup. I noticed that if Americans say they'll vote Trump they automatically get labeled a crazy racist, homophobe, gun supporting right winger. Bunch of crazy liberal snowflakes in America. Hence Trump has the silent majority again. It's what I noticed back in 2016 too. So yeah I tend to not believe in the polls. Hillary led the polls too in 2016, how did that turn out for her? Trump's still has support from his Republicans that's his party. I don't think Trump will get a landslide win like in 2016, but it'll be close.

Kind of sad when Minneapolis has to board up windows in case Trump wins and riots ensue. Oh democracy!

Seems like a 2016 repeat. Sad but I won't be surprised. America is full of liberal snowflakes.

Why do you think it's in case Trump wins?

I've hardly had been following the campaign but man is it kind of surprising seeing Biden being the favorite. Looking forward to the results tomorrow.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

In precincts that have reported, Biden has 100% of the vote.

Time to call it.

Assuming all of the states that voted blue in 2016 stay blue, then all Biden needs is to flip the top 3 battleground states he is currently leading in on this list to win.

Right now, according to FiveThirtyEight, the polls and margins in all of those states are as follows:

Wisconsin: +8.4 for Biden. 52.1/43.7

Michigan: +8 for Biden. 51.2/43.2

Pennsylvania: +4.6 for Biden. 50.2/45.6

Arizona: +2.6 for Biden. 48.7/46.1

Florida: +2.5 for Biden. 49.1/46.6

North Carolina: +1.8 for Biden. 48.9/47.1

Georgia: +1.1 for Biden. 48.5/47.4

Ohio: +0.7 for Trump. 47.5/46.8

Texas: +1.2 for Trump. 48.6/47.4

Iowa: +1.3 for Trump. 47.6/46.3
