BLU Life One X. Have had it for a few years now and while it's nothing special it does the trick. Paid $200 on Amazon brand new shortly after it's release and it's worth every penny. The only issue I have with it is with updates because the battery life can vary greatly. At worst it can be 3 hrs with heavy use and best closer to 6 hours heavy use. In an average use case it just get's me through an entire day with a poor update. Whenever a poor update leads to a much shorter battery life they tend to release another update soon enough to get it to a much more reasonable level, so it's never been a major problem. Otherwise it does everything good enough and has held up.

Was forced to grab one when the Vita browser finally gave up. Biggest waste of money I have ever had to spend on an electronic devices, but it became a necessity, so I had no choice. Ideally, a Switch Lite with 4G, Calling Texting, and a Web Browser. Or, another device in the form factor of the Switch Lite/PlayStation Vita from Sony or Microsoft that runs on the same base level OS, and offers a Shared Library of Games and Apps with the PS4/5 or XB1/4, along with 4G, Texting, Calling, and Web Browsing.

Basically, I want the same experience I have on my home console from my Mobile Phone. We were already there with the 3G Vita in 2012. Vita was able to Play games Online, Stream Music, Movies, and TV Shows, Make and Recieve Phone Calls, Browse the Web, Remote Play PS4 games, and Play PS3 Games via PS Now. I want the next generation of that experience, an all in one Gaming Phone. The Mobile version of what Consoles have become in the Home.

Ah, a fellow BLUfer. I had the Life One X as well. No complaints other than the battery, like you said. Still wasn't the worst battery I've had on a phone, just kinda in the average zone. Sadly, after about a year or so, the mic died on me.

Then, I got a good deal on an Alcatel Idol 4s, like $220 for the phone and VR headset. Loved the dual speakers and sharp display. But, the battery crapped out on me in a year or so. Got the Vivo + and have been very satisfied with it.

It's basically the same reason as to why I choose the 7 Plus. I bought it during a promo at which point it's price was about 30% off, making the phone widely better than anything else at it's price range during that time.

It also doesn't have a notification LED, but I love how the screen shows the text for a couple seconds on any news or mail I got.

Still using my S9 Plus, haven't found a reason to upgrade yet. If only Google made good phones, I'd have switches years ago.

Phone size is one of the main reasons that i haven't upgraded in so long. I kept hoping that Apple would release another smaller model, like my SE, but it doesn't look like they're going to do so. These bigger phones suck if your work outside as they're so bulky in your pocket. They also don't fit into a cupholder like the smaller models do. :(

Yep this is exactly the problem. Sadly for though the big phones sell way better so I doubt we’ll see a smaller iPhone ever again. My 8 is barely okay in size, but like I said, the 5 (and SE) were a tad better.
