I've never been offended by anything, yet I live in a world where people seem to take offense to just about everything.

I was opening this thread hoping to read that the character was going to be renamed to Game and Watch Person, because girls couldn't connect with the character while he was named after the Patriarch!

It's actually worse than that... who is to say that Mr Game and Watch isn't of Native American descent?

Given the disproportionately high rates of drug use, violence towards women, and poverty in Native American communities, I don't see this being a major rallying point for their self-driven activism...

It’s not supporters either, if you note he has very few likes but the people arguing against him have way more. This is another “Anita Skarsgagagaharaia gamergate” situation where something irrelevant is made to look like a huge problem by outrage culture people.

For Cleveland, the complaint was never about the name, but rather the mascot/logo.

You've already seen some people trying to remove the Chief from Florida State's traditions.

I could understand it with this one, as it looks more like a caricature. But the GameNWatch one does look more like some people became offended for the sake of being offended.
