the This kind of reminds me of a small scale Pokémon = Demons thing. It’s one person whose opinion only matters because other people want to make them matter. It’s not supporters either, if you note he has very few likes but the people arguing against him have way more. This is another “Anita Skarsgagagaharaia gamergate” situation where something irrelevant is made to look like a huge problem by outrage culture people.
