Forums - Gaming Discussion - Black Ops 4 physical sales down by 50% in the UK, lowest physical sales since Modern Warfare 11 years ago

Don't really like COD anymore. Hopefully its sales decline more so they can start giving a shit again. Personally, I think it would be best for this series to have a reset like AC, but Acti won't really care as long as the product sells.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

BO4 is probably the biggest change to the CoD formula since the modern warfare series.

Lol do you even know anything about BO4? What the hell is up with this site and people blind hating COD?

Conversing with multiple users is one thing, but going around and acting like the Call of Duty defense force in multiple threads is another. All that is doing is restricting discussion and opinions. Stop it. People will have their viewpoints and they will be as constructive or unsupported as they want. Nothing wrong with critiquing other points of view but saying that someone doesn't know anything or that people "blindly hate" isn't adding value to the thread.

That's funny. Cause I haven't bought a Call of Duty since Modern Warefare.

Because saying "Activision won't care as long as the product will sell" even though the game is COMPLETELY different adds value to the thread? People enter COD threads just to bash on it, so I will enter threads to call them out. Simple as that.

One thing to note with the UK is that it's a region where digital prices are massively skewed compared to US where it's $60 vs $60, Black Ops 4 is pretty much £40 physical vs £60 digital so even if the extra digital sales isn't enough to make up for the physical loss the straight up £20-30 they would make extra when you remove retailer fees and physical production costs will likely make up the revenue and not to mention less used copies floating around to loose future sales.

One thing i'd like to know is how much the market has shifted for the deluxe, super deluxe, Ultimate, Super dupa mega ultimate editions are taking compared to the standard copies.

I said it myself : " People will have their viewpoints and they will be as constructive or unsupported as they want". That is literally in the comment you quoted. People are allowed to state any opinion they want. Going around policing and berating people is not the same thing as casually stating a personal take.

But I didn't say it was the same. I said it adds nothing of value. And someone needs to stand up and say something about the state of this site towards multiplayer games. It's pretty much a circlejerk at the moment.

That happens when its a online only, reguires a patch to work game.
