I just realize that the last march Direct was also 35 min long, and in that one we had tons of new games plus their focus on the Splatoon expansion and Mario tennis. This one has no focus that we know of, so maybe we will see even more games.

They MUST talk about Switch online. The service starts five days later and we know basically nothing.

If they intend to release it in first half of next year totally make sense, so if they really show game tomorow I am willing to bet it will be released in first half of 2019.

Its obvious that E3 is not so important for Nintendo like was before and that now we have huge announcement during Direct also, so if some announcement and release plans for some games dont fit with E3 showing, they will just not show that game at E3. And it's totally possible they show AC tomorrow and release it on Spring 2019.

Course it's possible but I'm saying it's very unlikely, and whether you believe Nintendo thinks E3 is important or not doesn't change the fact that their major games haven't been missing E3. Obviously neither does directs having big announcements as that's been the case for atleast 5 years.

What I actually saying is that if we relly getting Animal Crossing in this Direct, launch will most likly be in first half of 2019. Point that Nintendo never done something like that before dont mean much last few years for Nintendo, they are doing plenty of things they did not done before. You talking how before every other big game was first on E3 before release, but forgetting that they even launched Switch before showed it at E3, another thing they never did before.

Maybe tomorrow we'll see the new Retro Studios game. There were so many rumors before E3 that it became weird not to see him in it. Tomorrow would be a good opportunity.

I do not know how big or important is the announcement of Civilization VI but I hope that Nintendo has reserved some more surprise regarding the third party. By the way, at this point I'm surprised that Capcom has not yet announced the twenty-ninth port of Resident Evil 4, this time for Switch! it will be tomorrow?

Civilization V apparently sold 8 million and VI is on it's way to surpass that according to previous news from 2K. Expanding this franchise onto console might be a big move, if it works out.

I really hope we see something big announced by third parties (that hasn't been announced by them recently, in the vein of FFVI Remake, a new Castlevania, Persona, Monster Hunter, GTA, etc.

On the first party front, they ought to show some of their early 2019 games, a la Yoshi. Other than that, they're 100% showing some Pokemon stuff, an echo + new Smash fighter, and Mario Party.

And, although expected to a degree, as it is Nintendo we're talking about, they botched the online launch so hard. It launches in a few days, and we don't yet even have a clear picture of what's on offer. Pathetic.

Plus, it's a perfect fit for the platform, if they iron out late game loading times.

Hopes and dreams for this direct:- Animal Crossing, RR8, brand new Chibi Robo with gameplay similar to the original, GTAv, amazing, unexpected 3rd party stuff, brand new Earthbound. Chibi Robo or Isaac or Waluigi or Isaac or Andy (Advance Wars) or karate Joe for Smash OR Chef Bro for Smash.( I know but one can dream right?)

Expecting:- 1 or 2 of the above (Please be Animal Crossing!), more info shown on the games we know about, online details. Possibly that 1080 game that was trademarked earlier?

DON'T WIN ME CHIBI BUDDY DON'T WIN ME.

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Less than 8 hours now!! Hype!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Ghost light has said they are announcing a jrpg port for the switch today in the direct... they have worked closely with Atlus in the past... Is it finally time for mainline Persona on Switch...

I didn't forget that, there's just no correlation and without that it's a meaningless point as it can be said for many things. "X doesn't always have to do Y so X doing Z instead is possible." That'd logic would only be relevant if I said it's not possible at all. Again, even with Nintendo doing some stuff (Note: some stuff, not everything) different recently, the fact still remains. Their most recent and upcoming games like Kirby Star Allies, Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Party, Pokemon, Smash, etc. have all appeared at an E3, so that is clearly not something being done differently. The real kicker though is that announcing a game in Fall to release in Spring isn't even something Nintendo hasn't done before, it's just rarely done as pointed out earlier, which again is just another reason why an AC announcement while possible is very unlikely.
