No, Trump will not win re-election in 2020. He continues to alienate the voters.
I'm putting my money on Andrew Cuomo to win in Nov. 2020. And this comes from a lifelong Republican.

You're wasting your money. Cuomo might be able to win an election against Trump, but I doubt it. Even if he could, he'll never make it past the primary. Your being a lifelong Republican blinds you to the fact that the Democratic primary electorate thinks he's a crook, at least everywhere outside his state anyway. It'll come down to Bernie, Biden, Warren, and Harris, unless some unknown pops out of nowhere, which Obama sort of did. Any of those could win the general in theory, but Warren would have it toughest. Definitely not Cuomo though. I'd sooner put my money on an independent billionaire like Cuban or Bloomberg than Cuomo.

What a fucking tragedy that would be.

He has a realistic chance of winning re-election if the democrats repeat the same mistakes they previously made come 2020, which I think might be the case.

At this rate, its almost a given. If Dems want him out, they're going to have to severely change their strategy

Despite his behavior.

North Korea is talking with us.

Stock Market at all time high.

Jobless rate down.

He is supporting our military.

He is pushing for space.

It truly is a great time to be an American despite some hard things to swallow from him. Unless the haters come out in force, which they usually fail to do...why he was elected in the first place, I think he will get a second term.

Opinion?

I concur.

The Democrats will nominate Joe Biden. That is not in serious question in my mind. It's already obvious that the party leaders favor him and recent Democratic primaries for lower-level public offices suggest that the more progressive wing of the party remains generally incapable of winning internal elections for statewide offices like Governor or Senator; just for House seats, which represent fewer people each. Those aren't promising signs for a progressive victory in the next nominating contest.

I will re-evaluate this assertion only if Andrew Cuomo is successfully primaried by Cynthia Nixon in next month's Democratic nominating contest for the governorship of New York.

Doubt it, but leave it open to chance. Midterms won't be this YUGE blue wave for 2018 midterms like I've heard so much before, but this economy is propped up on stilts atm and there's no way the economic good times will last much longer.

George W. Bush and Bill Clinton are almost as incompetent and pathetic as Donald Trump and they were elected to a second term. Trump has a good chance to be elected to a second term as US President. Democrats will win the mid term elections and make Trump a lame duck President.

All depends on if the Democrats can push a decent candidate. Bonus points if they find someone that's actually able to call out Trump's lies and bs instead of hoping his affairs or Russia connections ruin his reputation

He'll probably win. Unless, as others wrote, the Dems find again some winning outsider like they did with Obama. For example, thanks to large communities registering to vote, they could manage to have the first latino president elected. And no, none of the current most widely known latino Dem politicians possess a charisma comparable to Obama, so if it will happen, it will really be an outsider.
