Forums - Gaming Discussion - Cyberpunk is a first person shooter RPG, play as male or female

I don't care if it's first person, third person, fourth person…just let me get my hands on it!

For shooter 1st person is always the best option. And 1st person RPGs can br widely successful if Skyrim sales are any indication.

Just open the game for mods and it will be a guaranted success at least on PC.

Grand Theft Deus Ex indeed.

I never asked for this.

Clever boy.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Why is people angry about this game being 1st person?

Because those people have hated 1st person shooters, first person RPG's, and likely first person anything.

I'm a bit bummed about it for sure. I would have liked for them to have both views in as options, but they didn't, and I'm not going to pass on the game simply because they chose one over the other.

There is a bigger issue with FPS games though, and that's customization. CDPR wants us to create our own characters, but why would that even begin to matter when the game is supposed to be SP only and entirely in 1st person?. You wouldn't see any facial or body customization of any sort. I don't get why devs allow customization for a characters body, when you're strictly playing in1 st person. It's why I hate how the Dying Light devs kept on selling and giving out skin DLC for your character. The only people that could ever see the skins you bought were those who either played the game with or against you.

Having the option like in Skyrim and other games alike allows us to view the changes we make to our character, but if Cyberpunk is going to allow us to customize our bodies visually, then what is the point if we cannot see those visual enhancements?.  This is still the biggest hurdle that FPS games have yet to solve.

I hope peoples bitch and moan a lot and Maine they have third person option.

It's CDPR, chances are they will be sticking to their vision and tbh, I'd like them to.

Taken only for Ps4, it seems that ppl really "hate" 1st person games. 5 Out of 10, are 1st person games. And on top we have GTAV. So, CDProject is making a 1st person GTA. Seems legit to me.

I'm done, bye

I know right? Well it's only natural that you cant please everyone, but the reactions are over the top lol

You can't blame people for wanting to see someone's ass, male or female. They're just so round and bouncy.
