I don't consider OOT or Metroid Prime to be 'narrow linear single player games' under the OP's definition. Too much exploration and backtracking in them. This seems to be looking for games like COD which are so linear they might as well be on rails. Once exploration is a major part of the game I don't thing that game counts here.
