True, it wouldn’t impact income much, if you don’t consider tens of millions much, BUT:
1. Price cuts can help boost sales if done at proper times
2. The number of price cuts that can be done on a console are limited - a console can only drop so far in price.
3. In 2018 a 300€ Switch is not much less compelling than a 250 or 200€ Switch.
4. In 2019 or 2020, a price cut plus Pokemon bundle, or some kind of new party game, would boost sales MUCH more than they would chopping the price today - ultimately gaining Nintendo a lot more.
A temporary sale in November this year would probably do a lot more than a permanent price cut at this point.
