Nintendo doesn't really cut the price willy-nilly like the other two consoles Nintendo tends to only cut the price when sales are below their expectations. That's why the Wii got a price cut in 2009 and why the 3DS got a price cut in 2011.

Also, Nintendo cutting the price because the PS4 is beating them is a stupid move. The Switch is not competing with the PS4. It is competing with the PS5. It would be like if Nintendo cut the Wii's price after being outsold by the PS2 a couple of times.
