With famitsu digital estimates in, it looks like Monster Hunter World had a launch of over 2m. It's way above that now meaning it easily outsold splatoon on the Wii u to become the best selling console game of gen 8.

It's also the best selling playstation console game since ff12 in 2008. Another feather in the ps4 cap.

Does anybody know the best selling games on the ps2 and Wii?

No, Splatoon 2 sold over 2 millions in Japan only, and Splatoon sold 1,6 in Japan
