Maybe it is something related to Animal crossing? Animal Crossing is a casual game, and after Pocket Camp was released, it only could mean that AC is approaching (so it can use the smartphone game to gain new players)

They're probably making a game to show off this 'new way to play'. It could be Animal Crossing, or a new IP like 1-2-Switch.
