Doom and Xenoblade were my favorite games on the system this year, and virtually the only ones that have made the machine worthwile, even though the latter can be a complete mess sometimes.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

From everything I played, Odyssey is easy my #1 then BotW.

Third would be Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, just like Odyssey and BotW, is a game packed with so much love and charm, tight and challenging with Kirkhope at his best with the soundtrack.

And a special mention to ARMS, I may suck at it, but is another title I find pretty great. Those would be the highlights of my year with the Switch.

Xenoblade 2, i have Mario+Rabbids but haven't gotten to it yet. Splatoon 2 is primarily a multiplayer game so it can't win Game of the Year. Didn't connect with Arms at all
