But my post was right :P. 9m was a more sensible prediction, even if 20m ends up being the better one.

Just as predicting a Player will score 10 goals in a football match, that's not a sensible prediction, and if it actually happens that doesn't mean it was a sensible prediction when it was made. xD

As you yourself predicted 15m, you were only 0.5m from agreeing with me. And everyone predicting 14.5m or less basically agrees with the statement I made.

Personally, i thought that SMO lifetime sales would be +10 millions and at the same time I was wondering, Will it exceed 20 million? right now, i don't have doubts, SMO lifetime sales will be +20 millions :)

I agree. People are just hyped about it right now because it's a new big Mario. This franchise has always been pretty niche, it won't get any higher than 9 million.

Man, I originally thought it would sell about 13m.  Now I am not sure how much it will do.  I need someone who is not a total Mario 64 fanboy to explain to me why this game is selling so well.
