Great to see Switch doing to this great in Japan.

Also funny as what it takes to have increase in sales for Switch isn't a big new game release or sale, it's just more stock, Really would like to know just how well the Switch would be doing each week with unlimited stock.

Breath of the Wild continues to impress me. It's the oldest release on the chart (7 months old) and it's still selling around 5k every week. I'm expecting sales to decrease in the next few weeks until Odyssey releases.

well,i guess is safe to say at this point that the switch will become the dominant console in japan(the mobile market in that country is insane). And with this "japanese renaissence" idea happening in the west now, this can nothing but good news.

Surprised to see fifa beat FEW. Good debut for Fifa.

Trials debut is decent. It's probably at 100k including digital.

Apart from that I'm pleased with ps4 sales at 29k. Hopefully it doesn't drop too much over the next 2 weeks until Gran Turismo launches.

Great numbers for the Switch. What made Splatoon 2 jump higher this week?

I would guess: more hardware to play it on available.

All non-dead consoles are getting a boost. Although overshadowed by the big Switch boost, the PS4 saw a great increase this week as well.

  • Switch – 73,231 (43,426) + 68.63%
  • PlayStation 4 – 29,369 (23,814) + 23.33%
  • 3DS – 20,321 (19,272) + 4.98%
  • PlayStation Vita – 3,732 (3,707) +0.64%
  • Xbox One – 71 (76) - 6.58%
  • Wii U – 68 (56) + 21.43%
  • PlayStation 3 – 64 (87) - 26.44%
  • LOL, WiiU gets a similar boost to PS4. Not that it matters, five people can skew this statistics a lot for WiiU.

According to what I see on the charts, FIFA games do not sell all that much. .12 for FIFA 17 in Japan.

So what will be interesting is what sort of legs FIFA Switch has. If it starts pushing notably higher and longer that can only be good

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

For Nintendo to be able to increase shipment this much for a non-noteworthy release such as FEW, it only makes me more excited for SMO's week in Japan and the West.

Trails is a bit low but then again it's the third entry in a subseries of games that were on different platforms. I don't know of many third entries in a JPRG franchise that saw its sales go up. There was no way it didn't see a drop in sales. I am curious however to see how a new main entry Legend of Heroes would do on the PS4. Maybe we'll see it or maybe we won't. I guess it depends on western sales.

    Go Go Switch!

Prediction: Nintendo Switch sells 100 million until the end of 2021
