Some of you all's predictions are very optimistic to say the least. Especially the ones that has the Switch beating the PS4 in lifetime sales.

Anything is possible, many a prediction would have said the same thing about Wii vs. PS3.

To be honest, I knew the 360 nor the PS3 wouldn't catch the Wii. Even after the decline of the Wii. They still did wonderful though.

No I don't think it will sell as much as PS4. I'm not mathematical (if there's such a word) with these type of things. I'm just a console owner of all consoles that paid attention to the trend. The Xbox One can possibly sell on par with PS4 in the US. Negative everywhere else though. I guess looking at our convo, I realized that maybe my prediction is a bit too optimistic. For the Xbox One I mean.

The 3DS and XBONE are both pretty much at saturation now, I don't think the 2DS XL and XBONEX will make much impact. PS4 sales are being canabilized by gaming PCs and mobile, but still 90M is quite strong. Switch will have a good holiday season for sure, but after that it won't be until the next mainline Pokemon game appears on Switch before it reaches saturation. If it comes out in 2018 I would revise Switch sales up to 60M+ because of the momentum but I bet Nintendo won't do that. Switch also needs a price cut in 2018 if they want to compete well.
