Completely undeserved best game ever, completely deserved best console ever - and the PS1 is my close second as well.

Hey, at least Final Fantasy X made this list, unlike the Edge one!!

Yeah, I'll bite, Persona 5 is my favorite game of all time (as of now.)

It's just so damn good, anything complaints I have with the game are just minor nitpicks, and it introduced me to my waifu, so yea.

I love Persona 5, but good lord, were the voters prisoners of the moment, with Splatoon and Nier: Automata right up there next to it. I can't dispute the quality of those games, but I also don't think I've had long enough to figure out where they would rank when compared to the older classics, which I have played multiple times and have developed a deeper familiarity with, though it is nice to see a readership that's not entirely consumed with nostalgia. 

Also, wow at that Danganropa 3 ranking!

Oh wow, the PS2 just barely won that one!

Much better list than Edge.

Japan has great taste, a much better list than the Edge one, and let's be honest, most Japanese games are simply better than western games.
Especially modern western games...

But that's also because it's more RPG centric so yeah, much closer to my tastes.

I would easily put Persona 5 and Nier into my top 5 games of all time.

Still haven't played Zelda tho, realling looking forward to it when i get a Switch.


I mean with masterpieces like Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Dragon Quest V, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden II and Tactics Ogre it's hard not to laugh at Edge's list.

Weird Dragon Quest VI or VIII didn't make the cut but i guess it makes sense with 3 different DQ games on the list and the fanbase splitting votes.

No Dark Souls or Bloodborne sucks but it's not a huge franchise in Japan so it makes sense.

I loved Persona 5...but best game of all time is quite a stretch. I wouldn't even say it's the best game in its own franchise.

Sega at #1 makes sense though...we're finally getting OCs in Sonic after all.
