I love Persona 5, but good lord, were the voters prisoners of the moment, with Splatoon and Nier: Automata right up there next to it. I can't dispute the quality of those games, but I also don't think I've had long enough to figure out where they would rank when compared to the older classics, which I have played multiple times and have developed a deeper familiarity with, though it is nice to see a readership that's not entirely consumed with nostalgia.
Also, wow at that Danganropa 3 ranking!
