Poem for my bae (The Ballad of the Onion Nights)
On the Dawn of the First Day
I could feel my heart race.
Only the Fire Stingray
Could match its pace.
A secret to everybody,
But for only 72 hours,
For the Switch had ensured
This treasure, would be ours.
A mystery not seen
In the Chartz's 12 long years
The time had come
For the Berry's greatest fears.
As Day Two began
I thought, could it compete?
Was it like Samus or Zelda,
Or sweet Princess Peach?
Or like Mircro Mario,
Was I selling it short?
Could Robot Fiora
Be a better cohort?
These visions they danced,
Like Yuna mid-summon.
For one thing was certain,
This loot was uncommon.
As Twilight arrived
on Day Number Three.
I knew the Moon was coming
With Maximum Velocity
Some hid in fear
Of this Gravity Rush
But I calmed them and told them
There's no need to blush.
As the clock struck Midnight
The promise was kept.
From Charterz screens everywhere
OnioinBerry's behind finally lept.
The Legends, the Tales,
They did it Injustice,
This booty was indeed,
Like Gods Among Us.
