At this point it doesn't matter. People who hate Trump will believe it no matter what, and Trump worshippers won't believe a single thing that's negative about their joke of a god. He could say he murdered someone and it be absolutely true and they won't believe it, not even if he says it makes ya wonder if they actually follow him or are just being contrarian just to be contrarian.

This story won't lead to much. Mueller can use it. But we won't know the results of his investigation until at least a year. Could be more. With these sorts of cases there's a chance Trump will have served a full term before being absolutely proven guilty of anything. At this point it's just a waiting game

This obviously confirms Trump Jr is as big of a douche as his father.

I remember when Paul Manafort's Russia connections surfaced. I figured that would be the straw that broke the camel's back. For all of Trump's know-nothingness and dog-whistling, at the very least he seemed to prize American independence. But Trump endured that scandal and now here we are with the commander-in-chief (and apparently his son) cozying up to a foreign power with geopolitical interests clearly at odds with our own.

The Russian government meddled in American elections. That fact alone is scary and infuriating. Then you have an American president with a blind spot for Russia the size of an aircraft carrier, who takes the word of an autocrat with a deplorable human rights record because he feeds the president's narcissism. That fact is terrifying.

I never thought I'd ever see the head of the executive branch of the United States government put American sovereignty in jeopardy for the glorification of his massive ego.

So Russia did to America what the USA have done to countless other nations?

Anyway, what baffles me about the anti-Trump movement is that they are so hellbent on preventing Trump from doing his job. The president is constantly occupied with rebuttals and denials to so many allegations. If you want Trump to lose his job, let him actually be president. That takes much less effort and will lead to the goal faster.

What's preventing Trump from doing his job? He's the one putting out dumb ass Tweets and golfing on his own accord. When he's hung up on minor shit like inauguration photos and undoing  every single thing Obama did just because he dared to be a black president. The man is a prime narcissist, obsessed wiith his own image over the good of the country. Nobody asked him to fire the director of the FBI for looking into issues with his administration that got him in more hot water. At this point, it's a wonder why he's a sitting president. But, yeah, it's everyone else's fault the man can't do the job he didn't really even expect to get or had zero prior political experience with.

I hope its true, and Russia did manage to fuck up the US elections (even if I don't believe it). Considering how many times the US influenced Russian elections and tried to start color revolutions, its about time some of it boomerangs back

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Thank god he can't just do his job. Here is Trump strategy along with many republicans.... Deregulate everything and wait till everyone starts butt fucking each other and the whole world implodes again. Just throw up your arms in a giant shrug afterwards and say who knew stakes were so high and what terrible outcome would occur.

She got a picture of Putin on her fridge.

So she got a meeting with Don Jr by making him believe she had something on Clinton which she seemingly didn't have. This has been such a fake news story so far they're going to need to name sources and provide hard evidence at this point. The MSM surely can't afford to give Trump another win on this Russia thing.

I see you did not read the emails.  It was not her who staged this meeting and also you are going on the word of Trump Jr as if his accounting of the meeting is accurate when he has been caught lying already.  You calling this a fake news story because you believe what Trump Jr has said which is funny because if you read the emails you will see that his intent whether you believed this woman had connections to the Russian government or not was that he was willing to meet an agent of the government to help his father win the election.  So no there is no fake news to the story because everything reported by the story is true.  What you may mean is the interpretation of the events and how people view the information.  What I see from your post is what I see from a lot of people who believe a person they do not know but do not do the research to dissimulate the information and then come to an opinion.

That is where the Dems are failing. Meeting someone to get dirt isnt the issue, the issue is the dirt. We meddle in everyones elections, the fact that Russia found a way to meddle in ours through our media is what is scary. It continues to work today and the Russians just get to sit back and laugh anytime someone from CNN opens their mouth. We are wasting billions on BS news about a collusion that never happened.

What about intent ?

It doesnt matter at all to you?

The purpose (why he went to meet with russians) was to get dirt, so he could use it, and effect the election.

That is collusion.

He himself has admitted to it, in a tweet. He knowingly went to get dirt, from the russians on Hilary.

So what is it when the media gets dirt on people and publishes it? How about if  a candidate sought to get dirt on Hillary from another American? Dirt is dirt, it doesnt matter where it comes from as long as it can be proven true or false.  The intent was to damage Hillary and help Trump, if Hillary has nothing to hide as she says than no dirt can be unearthed and we have no story.

Its not about believing anything negative, its about it actually being negative. I dont get all of the Russia crap when they are an ally. Clearly they would have a preference in candidates especially considering they dont like the Clintons. If they have dirt on them and can give evidence, why not hear it?

Theres a differnce between a american journalist, that through legal means discovers something they thinks the public needs to know.

And a Russian agent, maybe looking to trade favors, by handing over damageing information, in order to win a election, for a person they approve off to be set in place of power.

Outside's sources arnt supposed to determine/effect american elections, and your not supposed to meet with them to do so.

Trump Jr admits to doing so.

He showed up at a meeting, to get intel, hopeing that it would help them win a election.
