I mean, it's totally cool that you believe that, and anyone is free to believe what they want. There's just no proof of it yet, and it's my opinion (just opinion, yes), that there isn't anything there. I could certainly be proven wrong, I just don't see it yet.

It certainly seems like literally everything Trump or his inner cirlce does is liable to get leaked. I can't imagine that any president and officials in this position would have some negative things come out. I'm actually suprised we haven't heard worse - though I think we eventually will. I just don't trust the gov't in general that much.

I agree it's totally easy for people to believe in or deny pretty much any information they see, hear or read..  I guess going to a meeting with the knowledge that the person could be part of the Russia government or agent is no big deal to some.  At best, with Paul Manfort there, he was told that this meeting was risky because he could be dealing with a foreign government and taking anything from them to change the election could be a felony event.  You say there is no proof but then again we have his emails that clearly show that Trump Jr was willing to take this risk.  He showed up and of couse we have no clue if the information for bogus or not, we only have his word that nothing came of the meeting.  Maybe you need that hard evidence like a mike during the conversation to pull you past think it was nothing.  I personally just going by my own moral compass knows if I tried that excuse with my wife, I would be divorce.

The reason why we see so much leaks is because Trump had and still has no clue how government works compared to a business.  He thinks he is CEO of the US and treat the job as such but he and his people keep stumbling from one bad moment to the next and making enemies along the way.  When all is said and done, he probably will at least serve his 4 years but it should be interesting to see how his popularity and business venture fares.  In the end he probalby still come out of this making billions for his brand.

Hey - I agree with everything in that second paragraph. I'm sure people reading this will think I'm a Trump Defender, when I'm anything but.  I have no problem with the man being thrown out of office, and even think there's a good chance it will happen.  Perhaps the only reason I'm not onboard with this particular narrative is I trust the media even less at this point.

I remember when Paul Manafort's Russia connections surfaced. I figured that would be the straw that broke the camel's back. For all of Trump's know-nothingness and dog-whistling, at the very least he seemed to prize American independence. But Trump endured that scandal and now here we are with the commander-in-chief (and apparently his son) cozying up to a foreign power with geopolitical interests clearly at odds with our own.

The Russian government meddled in American elections. That fact alone is scary and infuriating. Then you have an American president with a blind spot for Russia the size of an aircraft carrier, who takes the word of an autocrat with a deplorable human rights record because he feeds the president's narcissism. That fact is terrifying.

I never thought I'd ever see the head of the executive branch of the United States government put American sovereignty in jeopardy for the glorification of his massive ego.

So Russia did to America what the USA have done to countless other nations?

Anyway, what baffles me about the anti-Trump movement is that they are so hellbent on preventing Trump from doing his job. The president is constantly occupied with rebuttals and denials to so many allegations. If you want Trump to lose his job, let him actually be president. That takes much less effort and will lead to the goal faster.

Ha! I like this line of thought. And I think it's probably accurate too.

Eh, who cares. It's not like the Trump campaign is ever held accountable for their shitty practices. Nothing's going to happen as always. Trump could kick 1000 puppies in the face and his fanbase wouldn't budge.

So she got a meeting with Don Jr by making him believe she had something on Clinton which she seemingly didn't have. This has been such a fake news story so far they're going to need to name sources and provide hard evidence at this point. The MSM surely can't afford to give Trump another win on this Russia thing.

It's kinda sad that you have to grasp thin straws like these in an effort to impeach the president instead of just using the obvious undeniable fact that the president is an incompetent moron.

Also for not having any contact to Russians the Trump family and campaingn surely have a lot of Russian contacts.

being an incompetent moron is not illegal and hence not an impeachable offense.

Whether anything came of the meeting or not this is a huge ethical/legal problem for them. the ONLY way to respond to such a request for a meeting of that topic is to say NO and then contact authorities or simply contact the authorities. Their is no grey area here, what they did was not acceptable and they are probably extremely lucky that they did not receive any official documents about her as then they would be in even deeper shit.

PS: the truly baffling part of this is people that despite, trump Jr admitting it, Trump conceding it and the emails being published that prove it there are people calling this fake news. I actually wonder if these are really anti trump supporters as they only make Trump seem more a fool with such laughable garbage.

You Democrats are driving yourselves mad over fake news propaganda. Trump will never be removed from office. Suck it up get a decent candidate for 2020, get some actual issues to run on, convince the working class you haven't completely abandoned them, and maybe just maybe you'll "remove" Trump from office in 2020. Keep obsessing over muh Russia while crony neo liberals run your party, and it'll be an easy win for Trump.

Sometimes people just grate against each other. Hopefully you can see in my conversations with others I have been level-headed as well. I find some of your comments hard to believe, but you are obviously free to believe them. Probably best we just stay clear of commenting to each other further. I appreciate the lack of escalation. Hope the rest of your day (and posting) is fun. :)

Thanks man! Hope your day goes well too!

Which is the thing that is sad.

If they made it illegal for the president to openly lie to the public(not pertaining to national security) then Trump would've been out of office before inauguration.

"Anonymous sources told us" - story is already being retracted as fake ...

Bonus: Here is a picture of Trump Jr meeting with a Russian Admiral

Yeah, because the Russian lawyer is the credible source now ;). How come so many Trump supporters all of a sudden love Russia?
