I remember when Paul Manafort's Russia connections surfaced. I figured that would be the straw that broke the camel's back. For all of Trump's know-nothingness and dog-whistling, at the very least he seemed to prize American independence. But Trump endured that scandal and now here we are with the commander-in-chief (and apparently his son) cozying up to a foreign power with geopolitical interests clearly at odds with our own.

The Russian government meddled in American elections. That fact alone is scary and infuriating. Then you have an American president with a blind spot for Russia the size of an aircraft carrier, who takes the word of an autocrat with a deplorable human rights record because he feeds the president's narcissism. That fact is terrifying.

I never thought I'd ever see the head of the executive branch of the United States government put American sovereignty in jeopardy for the glorification of his massive ego.

So Russia did to America what the USA have done to countless other nations?

Anyway, what baffles me about the anti-Trump movement is that they are so hellbent on preventing Trump from doing his job. The president is constantly occupied with rebuttals and denials to so many allegations. If you want Trump to lose his job, let him actually be president. That takes much less effort and will lead to the goal faster.

What's preventing Trump from doing his job? He's the one putting out dumb ass Tweets and golfing on his own accord. When he's hung up on minor shit like inauguration photos and undoing  every single thing Obama did just because he dared to be a black president. The man is a prime narcissist, obsessed wiith his own image over the good of the country. Nobody asked him to fire the director of the FBI for looking into issues with his administration that got him in more hot water. At this point, it's a wonder why he's a sitting president. But, yeah, it's everyone else's fault the man can't do the job he didn't really even expect to get or had zero prior political experience with.
