Yeah, thats not bad, but it could be better. With the Switch they could possibly sell another 1 million, plus the PC release of the original Bayonetta and Vanquish. That could bring real dollars back to Plaitnum.

That's the real thing people should be thinking here, while platinum make some quality games it's my understanding that they're still somewhat hurting for cash, consider this a day one from me as long as it's running smooth on the switch in portable mode and they can have my money to support a fantastic company as well as gets me a great title to enjoy (I've got the X360 version of the first but never played it, would enjoy on the go so much more if this was possible)

Well, seemingly sales of the first wasn't enough for Sega to justify development of 2. So if not a platform-holder pays for exclusivity, a third entry probably won't happen.

I said in a later post that the market can easiy change their minds on the subject. Good reception from Bayo 2 on Switch, Bayo on PC, Nier Automata on PS4, and JPN games gaining some resurgence in the West can easily convince them otherwise. After all, they are pushing Yakuza in the West these days as well. 

Hmm, maybe. I'm not convinced, but anbything is possible. Also, nobody said that Sega aren't big idiots.

+ Bayo made it in Smash Bros. 4 by vote, which is a pretty big deal considering how much hype and speculation it built over the course of 2015.

Nintendo should have kept Wii U games on Wii U so the Wii U would be remembered as a great Nintendo console, just like the Gamecube, instead of being a piece of garbage with no redeeming qualities. Now the Wii U is a piece of garbage, just like the Game.com or the Philips Cd-i and all the other garbage made by companies that had no business with making consoles, making Nintendo untrustworthy just like Tiger and Philips.

This! I would love to be able to completely sell my Wii U and move the entire library over to Switch. The good Wii U exclusives right now are Pikmin 3, #FE, Super Mario 3D World, Tropical Freeze, XCX, Windwaker Remastered and Bayonetta 2.

Splatoon will be made obsolete by Splatoon 2. We all know there's going to be a Smash Bros. for Switch eventually.
