I said in a later post that the market can easiy change their minds on the subject. Good reception from Bayo 2 on Switch, Bayo on PC, Nier Automata on PS4, and JPN games gaining some resurgence in the West can easily convince them otherwise. After all, they are pushing Yakuza in the West these days as well. 

+ Bayo made it in Smash Bros. 4 by vote, which is a pretty big deal considering how much hype and speculation it built over the course of 2015.
