Nintendo does have more creative control here than they did with that 1993 movie that Bob Hoskins cursed with his dying breath.

Call it old head syndrome but those of us old enough to remember that era can't tell people hard enough how much better VG movie adaptions are in the modern era like holy s**t the were some atrocities released back then.

Man ... Just to think we're TWO days from finally owning the new Nintendo hardware brings me huge excitement. Starting the new Switch era on a banger too !

I know right, it feels surreal. It's been such a long generation; I love my Switch but I've been ready for Switch 2 for a while now. The first new Mario Kart in over a decade is a great way to kick off the new generation.

Here in Aus it's the 4th so this time in 24 hours I should be on my way home with it!

I just got a call from GameStop about my pre-order.

I can come in the evening to get my receipt in the evening and then come to the location at 11PM to pick up my Switch 2.

This is great! Cant wait :)!

This will be my first ever midnight (like) launch and first day 1 purchase of a game system.

Genuinely jealous of y'all who will do this because my work obligation will forbid me from getting it before I'm done with work on that day 🥺

Also weather forecast will likely suck so I might get drenched on the way back *sigh*

My walmart order never processed. Well…I guess I’ll see myself at GameStop @10am tomorrow for the midnight launch. If it ever does go through, then my options are (a.) scalp and cover the cost for both NSW2 systems OR (b.) sell to a friend for $100 under MSRP. This is truly the duality of man.
