DMC5 for anyone interested is on a pre-order sale on eShop in all regions going for like 25 quid or so.

It can (and it will) go much lower.

Well, it only took them 9 years, but the Switch 1 eshop is finally fixed lmao. The latest update overhauls it to more closely resemble the Switch 2 shop, and it runs vastly better now than it used to. It's not as fast as Switch 2 of course, but its actually quite useable now compared to the awful lagfest it was before.

No idea if any of you noticed my absence these past few days, but I’m traveling with my mom to some major cities! San Antonio on Sunday/Monday, New Orleans Wednesday/Thursday. Seeing some very cool sights, eating at some premier restaurants (Barbecue Station, GW Fins, Brennan’s, Cafe Du Monde). It’s been fun!

Anyhow… stumbled across this along my walk this morning: Earthbound. No idea what this means or if that’s the name of the place but it gives me an excuse to share my travels lol.

I’ll be back later this evening/tomorrow. Haven’t been keeping up with gaming news the week— very eager to see what I’ve missed! Saw Tales of Elliot got some pretty good reviews this morning, so that’s cool. Still waiting on WoM before I bite though. (I did see some… interesting news come out from Microsoft/Sony about layoffs though. Haven’t done any more than a cursory glance but it seemingly comes from Jason Schreier so sounds like it may be legit. Oof!)

Nintendo acknowledges the employee data leak, but hasn't said if they will cooperate with the hacker.

Your absence was very much felt mate; hope you have a great time and look forward to your return. :)

New Orleans is a good time and it has plenty of fascinating museums and history.
I'd recommend Ruby Slipper for breakfast tomorrow if y'all don't already have plans.

Aw man we actually left yesterday. Definitely a place to keep on my radar if I ever revisit. We went to a place called Brennan’s that is supposedly super renown. (I personally wasn’t all too blown away by it… they added waaay too much butter to my eggs lol.) I enjoyed my stay though, however short it may have been. The car ride home though was quite aggressive— 12 hours of riding through tropical storm Arthur on the interstate was truly an experience.

Anyhow I’m back home with family now. :) Now I’ve gotta catch up on some gaming news! Hopefully it isn’t all doom and gloom, I’m sure we got some cool drops these past few days. Really curious to see more on Adventures of Elliot.
