So much for Switch 2 owners have to content themselves only with exclusive titles, when talking about recent blockbuster releases. That narrative is suffering severe blows

We reap what we sow
That was about what I expected.
Excited for KH being playable on Switch. Also nice to have a sprite based FF game. I like Wii Sports so I'm happy about that too. And overall the rest of thefirst party lineup for the year (Fortune's Weave, Star Fox, Swtich Sports, Raiders, Ocarina) is respectable.
Only real complaint is that we didn't see more of Ocarina of Time. Still on the fence about how I feel about that.
I'm not blown away, but more or less satisfied.
I'm gonna end up putting another hundred hours in Pokopia over the next year lol

Splatoon Raiders looks really fun. Great summer with that, Rhythm Heaven Groove and Star Fox. Not much for the rest of the year so far first party wise for me, except from OOT remake of course.
It's crazy seeing Capcom going all in on properly supporting Switch 2!
Street Fighter 6
Monster Hunter Stories 2
Resident Evil Requiem
Pragmata
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Mega Man: Dual Override
Resident Evil 7&8
On top of those listed here
Capcom Games announced for Switch 2 over the last few days:

- Resident Evil Veronica
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
- Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen

| firebush03 said: Nate confirmed Kirby won’t be there. Perhaps Yoshi? Though Yoshi just got a new 2D game. And seeing as Nintendo is actively trying to dissuade consumers from entering into the NS1 ecosystem via price hikes, I’d be surprised if they reveal anything for Switch 1. |
| firebush03 said: Bold prediction: Xenoblade 4 reveal is dropping tomorrow. With the JP price hike in effect, I’m thinking they’ll want to be pushing hard toward JP consumers to regain sales momentum post price hike. It’ll be a Spring 2027 launch. |
Not to pat myself too hard on the back... buuuut let's just say it looks like my prediction for this presentation was almost 100% spot on. Xeno 4 was the only game revealed for 2027, no new NS1 titles, a slight bit more of a JP lean to this presentation, and Nintendo held their cards. Yeah again Nintendo is saving their guns for once Switch 2 price goes up in the US before they flaunt their western cards.
I will say, though, I did not expect them to be as secretive about the remainder of the 2026 calendar as they ended up being... not a single release date past late-October, not even for Ocarina of Time. That's ridiculous IMO. I appreciate their reserved nature with recent reveals, but pulling release dates until they're only a couple months away — especially for major system sellers such as an Ocarina of Time reimagining/remake — is just dumb. I would like to know what my gaming plans are a little longer in advance than just a few weeks prior to a release.

It does, and I don't feel bad for using it from time to time (fucking Nintendo Coin...) |
I don't have time to replay it in original hardware because of how much trial and error there is. Some games I've sold or donated because I never would have gotten back to them and didn't have any major attachment to them.

True physical release. Definitely getting this one. One of the few non From Software soulslike Im interested in.
Pre-ordering the physical as soon as this becomes available!
EDIT: nevermind, pre-orders available now on Nintendo Store. Got my pre-order in!
Orbitals physical release confirmed https://t.co/TB4uoqjei2 $49.99 physical / $39.99 digital
