Not to pat myself too hard on the back... buuuut let's just say it looks like my prediction for this presentation was almost 100% spot on. Xeno 4 was the only game revealed for 2027, no new NS1 titles, a slight bit more of a JP lean to this presentation, and Nintendo held their cards. Yeah again Nintendo is saving their guns for once Switch 2 price goes up in the US before they flaunt their western cards.
I will say, though, I did not expect them to be as secretive about the remainder of the 2026 calendar as they ended up being... not a single release date past late-October, not even for Ocarina of Time. That's ridiculous IMO. I appreciate their reserved nature with recent reveals, but pulling release dates until they're only a couple months away — especially for major system sellers such as an Ocarina of Time reimagining/remake — is just dumb. I would like to know what my gaming plans are a little longer in advance than just a few weeks prior to a release.
