Guess they’re saving those for a 1st Party Direct.

I don’t know about ER, but I believe Duskbloods is published by Nintendo worldwide - Which makes it a genuine Switch 2 exclusive title.

From are publishing duskbloods, says so on the eshop. Might still show it in main direct though.

If Switch 2 is your primary system, then the next 6 months are crazy stacked already; Mario Tennis, Yakuza Kiwami 3, Reanimal, RE Requiem/Village/7, Fatal Frame, Pragmata, Indiana Jones, Digimon Time Stranger, Fallout, Tales of Arise, Monster Hunter Stories 3, High on Life 2, 007 First Light, FF7 Rebirth, Adventures of Elliot, Pokémon Pokopia...

That's the thing S2 has returned Nintendo platforms to the position where they can stand as a primary platform with on parity releases, for example I'll bet that titles like Onimusha, Okami 2, Code Veronica R and such are already on the way beyond the next 6 months and probably a June ND will announce them we already know FFVII Part 3 is coming.

I eagerly await my 3D Mario and Pikmin 5.

Also, I believe the reason Nintendo prioritized DK, Kirby, and Metroid over Mario, Zelda, and Splatoon during NS2’s launch year is because Nintendo is/was hoping to cultivate an evergreen mega-hit out of some of their less popular (i.e. non-3D Mario nor Zelda) franchises, seeing how successful a lot of the early gen Switch 1 releases were. It’s a smart strategy, but also creates issues in convincing consumers to pick up a system.

Nintendo is implementing the same strategy they tried with the Wii U.

Bank on the system selling itself, let 3rd parties carry the system its first year or so and fill out its release schedule while they take the time to work on their own games for the system and release the heavy hitters in Years 2 and 3 and beyond (3D World, Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Splatoon and Mario Maker came out during that span) and take hardware sales to the next level.

Only this time - It's actually working!

And the reason why is because Nintendo has actually learned from their mistakes with the Wii U.
- Terrible name and and piss-poor marketing and messaging (Just by calling it "Switch 2" instead of something odd, different, or downright stupid, was all the messaging they needed. There's no confusion here, the general, casual audience knows EXACTLY what this system is.)
- The gimmick of the system is actually cool rather than a dud. (I said this all throughout the Switch 1's life cycle. That system highlights the difference between a Wii and a PlayStation. One is a lightening in the bottle fad that faded very quickly while the other was a legitimate powerhouse with long-term staying power. And in the Switch, Nintendo found their 'PlayStation' by simply merging their handheld and home console lines together and making a system that had the best of both worlds + All their software and IPs going to one system and ONLY one system.)

Because of these two factors and the massive success from Switch 1 - Third parties were onboard from the start. And unlike the Wii U, they are here to stay. So, Nintendo is content with taking their time.

I could see them implementing a "One per year" strategy where each year has at least one killer app S or X Tier 1st party evergreen, with a wide range and variety of A-B tier 1st parties + countless hordes of 3rd parties around it to support it.
